Living The Dream With Lacey

Each year, Deepwood Foundation helps an individual with developmental disabilities in Lake County experience something they’ve always dreamed of doing.

For Lacey, that dream was to be a baseball player for the Lake County Captain.

Lacey has loved baseball for as long as she can remember, and with the help of Deepwood Foundation and the Lake County Captains, we were able to make that dream come true with “Living the Dream with Lacey.”

Lacey received her very own custom Captains jersey with her name on the back, threw out the first pitch, and greeted the players as they took the field.

The celebration continued in the Pirate Suite, where Lacey and her guests enjoyed hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, and an unforgettable evening at the ballpark.
